So it's been a little while since i last blogged about the future... :-)
So i started my job a Staples and it was cool. A tad boring cause all we did was stock shelves but what totally made the hours go by was the people i was working with. It reminded me how much i love just being around people and learning about them. The funny thing is i don't even know how much they are paying me. For all i know i could be getting like 3 pounds an hour. ha ha. I am just so blessed to have this job. All the other places i applied to just didn't really seem to be right for me, but i just feel so welcome and needed there. I'm hoping that i can be a witness to them in how hard i work and how consistent i am. I also hope that i get opportunities to tell them why i love my life and that the reason I'm here to show glory to an almighty God. That is one prayer i have for my time here. It gets so easy for me, when I am hanging around with only "christians', to forget that we are called to a higher purpose than just living our lives, but that we are called to reflect glory back to our merciful creator.
So this wed was the second week we had this youth thing happen at the church. Its going ok but I get so discouraged because no neighborhood kids are showing up, but that is my own lack of aith causing that discouragment. Please be praying for that ministry. First of all that God can move in his timing. Pray that the kids who already attend the church can be moved in a deep way by God, weither it is now or at a later point in their lives. Also pray that we can get a connection with the neighborhood kids. Iso much want them to come on a wed night and just feel welcome and safe.
Keep praying for healing from sickness. Personally i have been sick since i got here but thankfully God has given me grace to be able to deal with it.
Continue to pray for Kirk and Mark. Aside from being sick they are the head of this church and they need prayer. Just pray that they can seek the wisdom that only God can give. Pray that they can lead us straight to the Lord.
Christmas is getting close and the more i think about all my lovely friends coming home and being together the more I get homesick i get. Like i have said before i love you guys so much. Its hard for me to be away from you for so long but i can take comfort in knowing that i am where God wants me to be. I pray that your time home can give you guys rest from a tough semester, especially those of you in your junior and senior years in college. Ican't even begin to understand the amount of work you have to do, but i pray you can find rest over the break. I love you all and i miss MD.

I hope that things are going well for you. I pray that the job at church is blessing you the way it did for me, like being able to buy lots of food when you go out for lunch on a sunday. I love you my brother.
